A recent Shadow Era Shattered Fates expansion update changed the entire Ravager Tribe flavor. The tribal flavor moved to a more aggressive stat growth (+2 attack) from the normal +1/+1 growth pattern we have seen quite frequently. With this new high attack potential of the tribe I decided to attempt to maximize this particular strength with a haste build. What is interesting about this deck has the ability to play a variety of ways. Early you can play, 1) like a typical Ravager build or 2) control with abilities; and late play 1) like a typical Ravager build, 2) transition to a portal or 3) transition to burn with abilities. The deck started of looking to max the potential of a Majiya Portal build late where you can get great value in damage for cost ratio (if set up properly). Majiya: Dead Won’t Die (Undead Portal)
Ok so this is a variation of my favorite deck I created during Shadow Era PFG3.
Majiya Portal builds have been around since the beginning of Shadowera, starting in Call of the Crystals and evolving to one of the top Majiya Deck during Dark Prophecies. What makes this deck different is the Undead Tribal Theme.
Boris: Haste Warrior
Haste is a powerful keyword. What makes it important is fact that you are guaranteed to use ally for attack or its ability at least once. This is very good given the plethora of control and burn cards in Shadow Era able to shut down your allies before they get the chance to do anything. Even if that ally dies next turn you had at least one use out of it, which can put you ahead in tempo more often than not. Boris already used this in DP but now with SF he got some new tools.
Key Cards: Fleet-footed Messenger, The King’s Pride
Speed: Medium
Difficulty: 3/5
