The Humans of Shadow Era has been consider the stronger faction of the Warrior Class. Boris and Amber have long sat as some of the stronger heroes of both Call of the Crystal and Dark Prophecies. Shatter Fates bring newcomer Tala into the mix and she see tons of play with her unique ability.

[SF] Wulven: Draw Capabilities

Aaaaaaoooooowwwwwww!!!!! Who doesn’t like wolves? These guys have lots of variety for draw but in general they revolve around the pack (allies) as seen with Bloodpack Shaman as well as armor like Wrath of the Forest. However the primary draw engine is Blood Moon which has one of my favorite arts in the game.

HEROES:
Darkclaw – 3SE: Until the start of your next turn, your weapons have +2 attack and Darkclaw has ambush (his attacks can’t be defended).

[SF] Human Hunter: Draw Capabilities

Hunters have such a wide variety of draw options, including class specific in every category except allies. In earlier expansions, Bazaar was a favorite of Solo-Gwen helping her to dig for stall cards while she went for the throat, and Victor used Tainted Oracle and Treasured Heirloom for burst drawing. SF bring some new toys but all the Hunters love Hunters Gambit.

SHADOW ERA

Current Expansion: SHATTERED FATES

Current Version: 2.87

HEROES:
Victor Heartstriker – 4SE: Target opposing ally is reduced to 1 health. Return the top Hunter card from your graveyard to your hand.
Gwenneth Truesight – 3SE: Target weapon you control gains +2 durability and has +2 attack until the start of your next turn.
Ythan Redthorn – 4SE: Target friendly ally can attack 2 times this turn, and has +1 attack and ambush until the end of the turn.

[SF] Rogue: Drawing Capabilities

Ugggh…the class I like the least. I actually love the idea of the class and is usually the class I choose in RPGs. My displeasure actually comes from not be able to play them very well and me and Lance go back ….way back and I’m not over it yet. Originally I was going to release Rogues last but in honor of one of our authors bobross who love this class, I’ve fast tracked them to head of the class.

SHADOW ERA

Current Expansion: SHATTERED FATES

Current Version: 2.87

HEROES:
Lance Shadowstalker – 4SE: Target friendly ally has ambush, stealth and haste until the start of your next turn.
Serena Thoughtripper – 3SE: Until the end of your turn, your weapons have +2 attack, and if Serena deals combat damage to a hero, that hero’s owner discards a card at random.
Garth Ravensoul – 3SE: Target opposing ally takes 1 damage and all other damage to that ally is doubled until the start of your next turn.

Warriors Of The Blue Phoenix Challenge #47

On Saturday the 13th September, at 2 pm GMT+0, 16 people gathered on the IRC channel #tournament in order to take part in the Warriors of the Blue Phoenix challenge #47. The Warriors of The Blue Phoenix guild host a tournament every weekend with various rules, which is “the best way to get crystals and test your skills”.

I have not one, but two decks for you today from the finalist of this tournament. In First Place came A1 Peithoson, who was playing A1 Vyz’s discard Zaladar deck, a very popular deck choice at the moment, which aims to benefit from discarding cards from your hand and deck. In Second Place was ETC Xander Spitfire, who was running “Victor Troll Deck”, a deck of his own creation. This deck is a beat down deck, in which you attempt to spam as many allies as possible. It also attempts to make use of Nathanias the people champion.

Deck 1- Vyz’s discard Zaladar

[SF] Shadow Warrior: Drawing Capabilities

Hi there!  Over the next few days and weeks, I’m going to be doing a run-down of draw capabilities available across all faction/class combinations in Shadow Era.  Each article will be quite in-depth, since the main idea is to highlight options that perhaps you might have previously overlooked, to give you as much flexibility as possible when putting together your next deck.

In a move designed to slightly nudge the game back to unbiased treatment of each faction, I’ve decided to start with Shadow Warriors, who are not normally available to play from the outset.  (Your free class deck when you sign up has to be for Human faction).  Let’s get going …

FF’s Building a Deck: Basics by FlyingFerrari

#1: Find the decks mission

What is my strategy and what is my goal to win with the deck (Board control? Damage? Particular finisher? etc.) and what archetype it is going to be (aggro, aggro-control, mid-range, control). Just looking at cards for board control, balancing with draw and allies isn’t just the answere of building a deck because without using the point I mentioned above, there is no point to continue. Step-by-Step : Anatomy of a Standard Deck by Conquestadore

Introduction

*Takes a seat*
Good day, sir Conquest here. I’m here to share with all my fellow sirs the anatomy and components of a standard SE deck. Now, what does it mean by standard? In this case, standard would be defined as used or accepted normally or on average. A brief overview would show us that a standard deck would be composed of various components available in Shadow Era: A Hero and its allies, abilities, weapons and armors. Aside from reviewing deck components, we will also take a look at the ratios of the components, assuming the build of a consistent 40-42 card deck. Continue reading
